Biography
Georgia Clemson (born 1991, Birmingham) is a London-based artist. Her interdisciplinary practice comprises photography, sculpture, drawing, writing and collage. Boundaries, safety, memory and care are perpetual themes in her work along with other therapeutic concepts. Clemson’s practice is also driven by experimental colour darkroom processes that she uses to address issues surrounding the physicality of photography. She graduated with an MA in Photography from the Royal College of Art in 2019. Her work has been featured in Vogue Italia. She was selected by Caroline Hunter (Guardian Weekend) as a top graduate of 2019 and was featured in a special graduate issue of Source Photographic Review.
